Thank you to everyone who came to the ‘Friends of Falconer’s meeting’ or ‘FOFs’ meeting, as they may now be called. There are some very exciting ideas that they are thinking up. The Summer fair will hopefully be a little bit different this year. We will keep you up to date as things progress.

Anyone who is interested in helping our school is regarded as a “Friend”. The “Friends”
are organised by a small committee of parents, learning support staff and teachers who
arrange functions throughout the year.
The strength of the “Friends” of course depends on willing volunteers.
Previous programmes of activities have included

Discos

Summer Fetes

Christmas Fayres

Folk Evenings

Barbecues

Fun Runs and, most recently,

a Circus
Funds raised by the “Friends” are used to buy all sorts of equipment
Equipment bought

The most recent purchase has been playground equipment.
In addition, the “Friends” help out at Christmas concerts, sports days etc. supporting the
work of staff. We welcome any offers of parental help in the classroom, please let us
know if you are interested.
